How to Brew Delicious Coffee Using Pour over

Step 1: Heat Your Water 

  • Bring water to just below boiling (around 95°C).
  • This temperature ensures optimal flavour extraction without burning the coffee

Step 2: Prepare Your Coffee 

  • Place a steel filter in your pour-over brewer.
  • Add 1 heaped tablespoon (15g) of medium-fine ground coffee per 250ml of water.

Step 3: Wet the Grounds (Blooming Process) 

  • Pour a small amount of hot water over the coffee grounds to pre-wet them.
  • This step allows the coffee to bloom and release trapped gases for a smoother taste.
  • Wait 30 seconds before continuing.

Step 4: Brew Your Coffee & Enjoy! 

  • Slowly pour the rest of the water in a circular motion, ensuring all grounds are fully saturated.
  • Use the Measurement Markings to control the brew amount.Let it drain completely, then serve and enjoy your fresh pour-over coffee!
